Alayisha is a Brooklyn Based Singer-Songwriter and Producer who fuses Funk, Jazz, Pop, R&b/Soul to create Alternative Neo-Soul. She uses her lyricism as a form of release and therapy and as a way to find her own voice as she is coming into her own. Inspired by artist like Amy Winehouse, Tank and the Bangas, Raveena and Jessie Reyez and vocally compared to Erykah Badu and India Arie. In February 2018 she released her first self produced project called “Progress”. After dropping her first project, Alayisha has dropped multiple singles leading up to her EP "Friendships" that she debuted the summer of 2023.
